Sekitar SM and SSM Award 2013

Alhamdulillah, this is a great opening for 2013, a booster to do better and achieve more. 

This can also be a good stepping stone for me and the rest of the team.

SO WHAT's HAPPENED?

Long story short, I received an award from Hai O Marketing for the first time ever since I've debuted in Premium Beautiful and Biozone business with Green Leaders Group (GLG).

 Sweet enough, time this around I was accompanied by great leaders and business partners who are willing to come and support us who received awards for that day.

The event took place in "Menara PGRM" Cheras (near my former school, Alam Shah Science School).

Since this is the first time I received an award, I was contemplating of choosing which and which. 
I need everything to be perfect from head to toe (pergi caras rambut kt Salon Jentzen, baju siap gosok dua malam dh..hahaha..anxious sgt). 
There were episodes of trying-and-error-mix-and-match of course. In the end, I preferred "less is more".

Before heading to the hall, I had some candid moments with lovely ladies Kak Jue, Kak Hanis and Kak Aimiey and the rest of the team. Snap!!!!!!! All looked gorgeous with those dresses. 

Receiving an award by General Manager Hai O Marketing himself. What an honour it was. (time ni rasa macam nak buat speech je rasanya.hahaha)

Now, these two pictures mean a lot to me and honestly I was surprised really. Right after I stepped down from the stage, I was warmly congratulated by my mentors; DSM Ajue Rashid, CDM Hanis Haizi and CDM Razali Zain personally. I never thought they would wait down there and support us but they did. I felt so comfortable having these people around. Thank to you all. 

Achievers who received award yesterday. All of them are from Green Leaders Group. 

~ANOTHER GREAT NEWS~

 I will be receiving another award in July 2013. What makes it even sweeter is 7 of my business partners will get on the stage and rock it like a boss as well. Well done guys. I am waiting for the day to come. Of course all of these does not come easily without clear path and support from the right mentors and group. For that, I thank to GLG. 

Above all of it, I thank to Allah for giving me such a wonderful experience and opportunity to improve myself and the fate of my family. May He will guide me further.

Hi All, I guess many of us are too cautious with our health lately. 

Well, this is not a generalization about everyone but I feel everyone is.

After "molesting" my keyboard for an hour (Ok I lied....it only took minutes.hahaha), I found this great finding on a facebook page called Handimania.

They teach how to make this sort of D.I.Y stuffs including vitamin boosters from natural sources like ginger, beetroot, apple and etc. I admit I took supplements but I want to find something natural that works best for my health.

Excessive Antibiotics Can Kill

Fact 1: Misuse of prescription

"A truly disturbing practice is the prescribing of antibiotics by some doctors to treat colds, coughs, runny noses or flu. Most upper respiratory infections are viral. Treating them with antibiotics is clear and blatant misuse, since the drugs kill only bacteria and are of no value at all in treating viral infections. There are treatments that can relieve the symptoms of a cold, but there is no drug (over-the-counter or prescription) that will cure a cold." 

I think most of us, the consumers who is non-medical-practitioner, do not know about this fact. The only thing we know is to get antibiotics in order to kill the germs that cause fever and cold. But the reality is Antibiotics do not just get rids off the pathogenic or “bad” bacteria. "They also cold heartedly destroy the beneficial bacteria necessary and vital to good health". Hence, that is why we are said consuming excessive antibiotics. 

Fact 2: Meat and Poultry (i.e. chicken)

It has been ages that meat and poultry industry uses growth-promoting antibiotics. Initially, the intention of is mainly to keep the chicken alive in such a stressful, unsanitary conditions, and to speed up their growth.

Moreover, the practice of giving excessive antibiotics leads to new strains of drug or antibiotic-resistant in human E. Coli infections.  (Dalam bahasa mudahnye, sistem immuniti badan seseorang dh lali dgn bacterial infection sebab dh bacteria kebal and bebal). 

The mechanism of macrolide antibiotic resistance in S. antibioticus.

E Coli causes infection in blood stream which primarily derived from food animal sources. With no further examination on health, the infection can lead to the worst situation which is DEAD! 

In UK alone, many has been reported with E Coli infection that causes blood poisoning cases and 8000 has died.(read here) 

So you see, how serious the situation is. Kita mungkin tak perasan atau mengambil berat akan hal sebegini kerana sekarang ni mungkin apa yang kita makan tidak memberi kesan yang cepat. So before I faint, I better prepare a list of FAQ questions and answers  regarding BioZone Purifier. Here they are:

1.Do I need to purify for longer interval if I have a lot of foods?
BIOZONE Food Purifier is designed for HOUSEHOLD USE only. Assuming you have 3 – 4 chicken portions, it is still fine to take 30 minutes to purify the meat as long as you adhere to the maximum water volume of 10 litres.

2.Does it consume excessive electricity?
No. The electricity power consumption is minimal at 35 Watts only. It is like lighting up a bulb in your house.

3.How do I service the ceramic stone?
Plug the silicone tube out from the machine. Use a toothbrush to gently brush the surface of the ceramic stone under the tap running water. After that, air-dry. Once a while, dry it under the sun. If there is any bad odour, you may purify the ceramic stone in plain water for few minutes and air-dry.

4.Will the food nutrients be lost in the purifying process?
We have a laboratory test on the meat to show that most of the nutrients are maintained. This can only be possible using a good food purifier. If you use conventional technology, it might reduce the nutrients substantially.

5.Do I need to wash the food again after purification?
It is not necessary to wash the food after purification process. But, if you feel the need to rinse the food after purification, you can use filtered water to avoid any re-contamination with tap water.

6.How long can the BIOZONE Food Purifier last?
After the first 2 years, as long as you send back the machine for general maintenance once a year, it can last very long.

7.Why can’t I use a plastic container and what other bowls can I use?
Not all plastics are ozone-resistant. Generally, we do not advise to use plastic bowls. It would be best to use stainless steel or glass bowls.

8.Can I use to clean baby bottles?
Generally for plastics, we try to avoid direct purification. You can first purify the water in a glass or stainless steel container and use the purified water to rinse the baby bottles.

9.Why meat has foam, but for vegetables, it is not visible?
Pesticides are generally soluble in water, hence it is not visible. For the foam, it is a long chain of fatty acid which is more prevalent in meat. Most of the fatty acid has polymer-based compounds which may be difficult for the body to absorb. If the body is able to absorb, it actually goes into the blood stream which may be bad for health over a long period of intake.

10.Can I remove antibiotics from the meat during purification process?
The foam did not reveal any antibiotic trace, but during the 30 minutes purification process, the laboratory test report showed that antibiotic was absent after purification.

11.Will the foam be totally gone if I detoxify for longer periods of time?
The chances of the foam being totally gone is rare because more fats can be removed through longer periods of purification. The side effects would be more nutrients lost. Hence, we do not need to over-purify the meat.

12.Some vegetables and fruits float up during the purification process. What can I do?
Just use a cover to close the bowl with a small gap for the silicone tube to pass through, as long as the cover is not made of plastic material.

13.How can I be certain that BIOZONE Food Purifier can perform 100% purification?
