GLAM DINNER 2013

This is a tradition in GLAM where new CDMs are celebrated in a glamorous and majestic event. Hence, GLAM organized GLAM dinner 2013 for that purpose. This time, GLAM dinner has taken place in Marriott Hotel Putrajaya. It was held just right after MUT had finished. So, we ended up rushing to putrajaya from MIECC just to ensure that we didn't miss the beginning of the dinner.

I cannot describe how marvelous and terriffic the event was. I still could remember last year, it was only three of us attended the event, Kak Jue, Farouk and I. At times I felt so timid and shy as there was none I knew other than these two. This year, Alhamdulillah, my partners all over Malaysia came joining the event. In less than two years, my group have expended drastically. Thanks to all hardwork played by my business partners and also my leader DDM Ajue Rashid. Without them, I am nothing. Syukur kepada Allah memberi rezeki melimpah ruah. 

There so much more I would like to share but I won't finish in just a page. I need at least 2 days 1 night to finish all (hehe...over pulak). Hence, I let the pictures storytell you everything. Enjoy!

Parody for laugh

I never know how to release stress effectively as others might have their own sweet escape but the one never fails me is "laughing". 

Yes, laughing is a good remedy for releasing stress. It's magic really, when I laugh, all problems and uncertainties just fly away from my thinking box. 

My sources of laughing are many but one of them is watching parody posted by people on youtube. Some parodies produced are unexpected and unthinkable. People with creative minds really know to tickle you heart with their brilliant ideas and motives. Some had put sentiments to it which is appealing to some listeners while others are just too crappy. I love the later one because it just makes my day watching all those ridiculous-unrelated-meaningless lyrical and melody mashup. 

I would like to share the "A" list of three parodies ever existed in this universe (reminder: this list is made based on personal consideration. You can too have your choices).

Hi peeps!I rarely post an entry early in the morning like this and I also rarely woke up listening to Malay songs (there is no specific reason why is that so)

However, I woke up this morning and suddenly this kind of melancholic melody stirred my mind for a while and it can't get out. Curse this song for making it stuck so bad in listener's schemata (but of course in a good way.hehehe)

Have you ever heard of this current pop sensation duo?  They call it SLEEQ but not SLEEK.hehe

Go figure. 

This is the latest hit, I think, from both of them. A collaboration with local-made-singaporean-born actor, Aaron Aziz.

 I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEE this song. It might sound so easy-going-kinda song but it DOES give motivation to do what you like for the sake of people you care of.

GLAMorous GLAM Party

As promised, why we had to rush out from Stadium Melawati that day? 

Because we didn't want to miss the biggest event held by Green Leaders Group this year which is GLAM Night.

Yes, judging by its name maybe some of us start to visualize all glittery, sequinned, well-made and colourful dresses. 

NOT JUST THAT!

GLAM Night offered more than that. 

AWESOME food, AWESOME decoration, AWESOME souvenir, AWESOME performance, AWESOME lucky draw prizes and of course AWESOME company from GLG members.

Bo Bruce

WHO IS THAT PERSON?

A rising star from The Voice Uk, Bo Bruce definitely has the extraordinary zest to her voice. Soft, sharp quirky and unique are the adjectives suitable to describe her magnificent vocal. 

Bo has brought me back to the moment where The Cranberries were on to the top in the musical industry. The feeling of listening to her songs (cover) and Cranberries' is exactly the same. So tranquil, so soothing and so ease. There is NO crying-out-loud kinda vocal that can explode your ear drums.  

Currently, she has a crush in her sleeve who is not a mere commoner but a megastar, Danny  O' Donoghue. (GIRLS, hold on your jealousy. haha)
